Your area of responsibility
- Quality planning and assurance at our suppliers or potential suppliers
- Development and implementation of audit, quality and inspection plans
- Responsibility for qualifying and developing potential suppliers and deciding on their suitability together with the purchasing team
- Track supplier performance / quality and take improvement measures if necessary
- Ensuring compliance with quality requirements and standards
- Helping to ensure the required quality and reliability of our supply chain
- Identify quality problems with products or processes at suppliers and recommend appropriate measures and initiate quality assurance measures
- Carrying out supplier audits and evaluating suppliers
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and quality regulations and standards
- Review and approval of quality documentation
- Documentation of measures including Monthly Supplier Quality Report
- Close cooperation with the Quality, Production, Engineering and R&D departments
Our requirements
- Degree in engineering or a comparable technical background with professional experience
- At least three years of professional experience as a quality engineer or in the area of supplier quality assurance
- Sound knowledge of test standards and a high level of technical understanding of drawings and diagrams
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
- Ability to work in a team, self-motivation, flexibility
- Very structured and precise way of working
